How Trai handles website enquiries, analytics and personal information, and how to raise a privacy question or request.
Last updated: 10 October 2026. This policy explains personal information handled through the Trai website and enquiries about our technology, digital and AI services. Project-specific information handling, access and responsibilities are agreed separately with each client. Contact Trai through the Contact page with any privacy question; you do not need to agree to marketing or website analytics to make a request.
When you enquire, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide, such as your name, email, phone number, business, website and the systems or challenges you describe. Our hosting and form providers also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, which can include IP addresses, request times, browser information and security signals. Please do not put passwords, payment-card details, health information or confidential customer records into the enquiry form.
We use enquiry information to respond, understand your requirements, arrange a discussion and keep a record of the conversation. If you become a client, relevant information may also be used to scope, deliver, support and administer agreed services. Technical information helps operate the website, investigate faults and protect against abuse. We do not treat a request for help as permission to send unrelated marketing.
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Contact and Tech Check forms are supplied by HubSpot, which receives submitted form information and technical information when its embedded form loads. Anti-spam checks may use Google reCAPTCHA. These form and security services are separate from optional Google Analytics. We use providers to support the enquiry and website; we do not sell enquiry information. A form can only be processed if its required fields are supplied.
Google Analytics 4 is loaded through Google Tag Manager only after you choose Allow analytics. It helps us understand page visits, referral sources and general browser or device information. Do not include personal information in website URLs. We do not intentionally send enquiry answers, passwords or sensitive records to Google Analytics. Choosing Decline analytics does not prevent you from reading the site or using the enquiry form. Change your choice at any time using Privacy choices in the footer.
Information may be accessible to authorised people working on your enquiry and the hosting, form, communications or other providers needed to support it. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address misuse or protect legal rights. Providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other locations used by their global services. Do not assume Australian-only storage. Ask us about the proposed providers and data locations before supplying project data with residency restrictions.
We limit information to what is needed for its purpose and use access controls appropriate to the service. No website or transmission method is completely risk-free. Records may need to be retained for an active enquiry, service delivery, record-keeping obligations or a dispute; provider logs and backups can have different retention periods. There is no single retention period covering every system. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion. Deletion requests are assessed against applicable obligations, necessary records and technical limits, which we will explain.
Use the Contact page to request access, correct a detail, ask about deletion or raise a privacy concern. Identify the relevant enquiry and the outcome you are seeking without sending identity documents or sensitive records in the first message. We may need proportionate identity verification before releasing or changing information. We will assess the request, explain any limits and provide a response or an update if investigation takes longer. If you remain dissatisfied, you can seek information from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner about available complaint options.
Commercial email or SMS marketing requires an appropriate consent basis, sender identification and a way to unsubscribe. Your analytics choice is not marketing consent. The website enquiry is not an AI conversation, and this policy does not authorise using client or customer information to train AI models. Any project-specific AI use must be separately scoped and approved. We will update this policy when relevant website practices change and show the revised date above.
